Alicia Severson joined Wondertree Kids in 2009 as the Camp Director and Art Teacher. Recently, she returned to the WTK Family as the Director of Programs and Curriculum. She has over 14 years of teaching experience, including preschool, parent & me classes, elementary school, and homeschooling.
Alicia earned her BA in Child Development from CSUN and her MA and Teaching Credential from Azusa Pacific University. Her role at WTK is the perfect combination of creativity and teaching – getting to develop a high-quality, hands-on curriculum and connect with families while working toward a mission that she has a passion about. In her role as an Executive Board Member and Peer-Parent Volunteer for WarmLine, Alicia has connected with many parents of young children and seen their desire to create meaningful and engaging moments with their children. Her goal is to partner with parents as they provide learning experiences for their young children.
Originally from southern California, Alicia now lives in Idaho with her husband and two young daughters. When she isn’t working, she is doing art activities with her girls, hiking, or reading. She also runs a blog at www.redcrayonimagination.com or on Instagram @redcrayonimagination.
